Maxillaria playpetala flowers are similar to Max striata.  Plant size seems smaller than Max. striata.  Mature blooming size plants in 4" pots.  Peru.

Maxillaria tenufolia growing in a 4" pot.  Fragrance is similar to coconut.  Flowers will last 4-6 weeks in bloom and the plant will grow quickly into speciman size quickly if left in the same pot for years.  These plants are multiple growth with 20-25 growths per container.  Each new growth may have 1-3 flowers.  These begin to bud spring.

Beautiful white flowers with caramel tipped sepals and petals are outstanding.  Flowers last about 3 weeks but can can bloom several times throughout the year and are on the average 2.5-3 inches in diameter. 

Unmistakable large white flowers with burgundy-red fuzzy lip.  These plants will grow bettter a cooler night conditions (55deg) but will do okay at higher temps.  Divisions from the 'Penfield' clone

Max lankasteri is a miniature growing orchid.  Plant stays under 6 inches in height.  Its in flower  throughout the year with small yellow flowers with reddish stripes.  Easy in low light.
